SKILLS OPERATIONS MANAGER

About the position: This position is assigned to the Auto Skills Center and the Arts & Crafts Skills Center on F. E. Warren AFB, WY. This position is Regular Part-Time. The position is guaranteed 20 hrs/week but has potential to work up to 40 hrs/week. You may be required to work some nights, weekends, and holidays. As a Regular Part-Time employee, you are eligible for leave and benefits; Health & Life Insurance, 401K, and Retirement. The starting pay for this position is $30.00/hour.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Must have responsible experience in the areas of resource management, fund accountability, inventory and property control. Supervisory and Managerial experience is highly desired. Must be able to communicate clearly and possess the skills required to deal with the public in a professional manner.

Knowledge of automotive shop operations and ability to read and understand automotive manuals - OR - experience in a skills program similar to either an Auto Skills or Arts & Crafts Skills program is preferred. Must be able to verbally communicate information to patrons and must be able to communicate both orally and in writing. Must be able to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.

Must be able to satisfactorily complete a Tier 1/National Agency Check with Inquiries (T1/NACI). Must have, and maintain, a valid driver's license.
