About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Charleston Fitness and Sports Center, located at Naval Weapons Station, Goose Creek, SC. This position is a flexible position, may work 0-40 hours per week based on mission/programming requirements. This position may require shift work to provide coverage on weekends, holidays, and special occasions.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Practical knowledge of recreational programs, Recreational activities, rules, and procedures is desirable. However, no experience is required. Ability to safeguard and handle cash is desired. Skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment is also desirable.

Must be physically fit and capable of lifting, walking, moving up to 40 pounds. Must complete CPR and First Aid training with 60 days of employment. Must satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquires (NACI)
