PROTOCOL OFFICER

You will serve as a PROTOCOL OFFICER of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND. Employee is entitled to 8.64% COLA.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Examples of specialized experience include: 1) Candidates must have expert-level knowledge of protocol and experience serving as a personal advisor to senior leaders, coordinating visits and events with high-level U.S. officials and foreign dignitaries. 2) The position requires proven supervisory and managerial experience, with the ability to lead a team of military and civilian personnel, direct a full range of protocol operations, and manage all associated personnel actions.

3) A candidate must possess experience managing official government funds, including the planning, oversight, and accountability of Official Representation Funds (ORF) and operational budgets in accordance with DoD and Joint Staff instructions.
