About this opportunity

This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for developing workforce development goals, formulates requirements, and creates program guidance (SOPs and business processes) in accordance with 10 U.S.C. Chapter 16, §384, and organizational objectives. Prepares reports and briefings for the DSCA Director and DSCU President, and plans and conducts program assessments and evaluations.

You may qualify at the GS-13, if you fulfill the following qualifications: A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service: Develops workforce development goals and formulates requirements in accordance with 10 U.S.C.

Chapter 16, §384 and established Program objectives; Develop program guidance in the form of standard operating procedures and business processes in accordance with legal, regulatory, policy guidance and program objectives based on unique workforce development situations for the organization; Prepares and presents reports and briefings on program status and/or recommend action to DSCA Director and/or DSCU President; Plans and/or conducts assessments and evaluations of workforce development programs for the organization.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
