This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Direct-Hire Auth (Domestic DIB, MRTFB) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. To qualify at the GS-07 grade level: I have one year of specialized experience at the GS-06 grade level which includes performing standard law enforcement duties, including responding to emergency calls, securing incident scenes, and enforcing local, state, or federal laws; conducting preliminary investigations, including interviewing witnesses, collecting and preserving evidence, and apprehending suspects; and preparing detailed law enforcement reports and utilizing law enforcement databases to input and retrieve criminal data.
