About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, Logistics Readiness Center, in Fort Stewart, Georgia.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a Packer without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform common Packer duties. I can perform packer tasks including 1) following basic instructions for packing standard items; 2) organizing warehouse stock by location; and 3) using basic tools or equipment.

I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. -Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability to Do the Work of the Position without More Than Normal Supervision Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc.

Ability to Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Dexterity and Safety Knowledge of Materials Technical Practices (Theoretical, Precise, Artistic) Work Practices (Including Keeping Things Neat, Clean, and in Order) Physical Effort: Work is performed on hard surfaces and involves lifting and moving heavy items. Segregation of items involves standing or sitting for prolonged periods and continuous arm hand movement while handling and packaging material and equipment.

Moderate physical effort is used to operate a forklift truck, pallet jack, or motor vehicle. Working Conditions: Work is performed primarily inside of a warehouse, but on occasion (approximately 10% of the time) is completed outdoors in cold, hot, windy, rainy, or snowing environments. Subject to injury when moving or handling materials and equipment, and hazards involved while working in close proximity to moving equipment, such as forklifts, conveyer lines, etc.

Exposed to all classes of hazardous material to include radioactive items.
