Management and Program Analyst

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Professional Responsibility, Investigative Operations Directorate. Experience: You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Leading or coordinating projects, studies, or program initiatives involving complex administrative, management, operational, or mission-support functions. Analyzing program data, records, reports, or business processes to evaluate program effectiveness, identify issues, and recommend improvements.

Developing, evaluating, or implementing policies, procedures, planning controls, or internal controls to support program operations and organizational objectives. Advising management officials on strategic planning, workforce planning, resource needs, program performance, organizational change, or process improvement initiatives.

Preparing and presenting reports, briefings, impact statements, recommendations, or decision materials for management officials based on analysis of program requirements, policies, or operational data NOTE: Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement, otherwise you will be found ineligible.
