Management and Program Analyst

The Management and Program Analyst reports to the Senior Business Manager (Supervisory Health System Specialist) of the Medical Specialty Care at the Veterans Affairs Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, Nashville, TN.

To qualify for this position, applicant(s) must meet at least one of the following qualification requirements. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Requires at least one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. To be creditable, experience must have been equivalent to the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service.

Specialized experience includes: Collecting, analyzing, and evaluating data on a quantitative and qualitative basis to include data mining, reporting, program development and advising leadership on improvement initiatives and recommendations; utilizing various tools and methods such as reports, data servers, analytic servers, and Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Access) to create presentations, data analysis, and project documentation.

OR SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D., if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work.

OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED): An equivalent combination of successfully completed graduate-level education (in excess of 1 year) and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements.
