Level 2 Early years Apprentice

The candidates will be assisting in the breakfast and after school sessions. They will be interacting with the children, help with the planning of activities, learn about observations of the children Candidates must be mature and responsible if 16-18 (happy to take candidates age 19+) and be prepared to progress to Level 3 Apprenticeship to become ratio ready Candidates must appreciate that they have to interact and play with not just the younger age group children but also the older age group children

We are looking for candidates that want to join the childcare sector and achieve their qualifications at the same time gaining experience working with children of various ages. We offer working hours that will enable the students to have time to attend college and complete their course works.

Early Years Practitioner Level 2. Training will take place at work with a one day a week based at Bournemouth and Poole College. The apprenticeship will take place either in our Livingstone site or Kingsleigh site. We will provide other necessary training such as First aid, food hygiene and safeguarding.

Progression to a higher-level apprenticeship/further training Progression to full-time employment

Kidscape is a wraparound provision that offers breakfast after school care during term time and holiday care during school holidays and school inset days.

Passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check Must appreciate that they have to interact and play with not just the younger age group children but also the older age group children Must be willing to gain work experience in the preschool session As part of this process, please apply to the Bournemouth and Poole College and attend an academic interview
