FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN

You will serve as a FINANCIAL TECHNICIAN in the COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT 600, DEPUTY COMPTROLLER 601, FINANCIAL SERVICES DIVISION 610, TRAVEL BRANCH 615 of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience working with travel systems/databases (such as Defense Travel System, Joint Travel Regulation (JTR), and Joint Federal Travel Regulation (JFTR). Experience understanding policies and procedures to examine, verify and certify transactions.

Experience applying substantial knowledge of travel requirements, procedures, and functions to effectively manage their area of responsibility. Experience implementing travel system changes.
