Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic without more than normal supervision. Ability to perform common Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic duties which include troubleshooting, spot checking subsystems, and maintaining complex electronic integrated systems. Skilled at providing technical assistance to lower graded employees, making final repairs and correcting defects on integrated electronic systems and subsystems.

Work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to ensure they are properly performed. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (Screen-out Element) Ability To Use Hand and Power Tools - Electronics Ingenuity (Ability To Suggest and Apply New Methods) Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, Repair, etc. Theory of Electronics Trouble shooting (Electronic Equipment) Use of Test Equipment: Electronics PHYSICAL EFFORT:Work requires frequent lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasionally lifts heavier items with assistance.

Employee is expected to climb onto equipment, stoop, bend, crouch, kneel and stand for extended periods of time. Works, as required, in cramped or awkward positions. Occasionally work in high places may be required. WORKING CONDITIONS:Work is usually performed in well-lighted, heated and ventilated areas. Exposed to dirt, grease, dust, exhaust fumes, and high noise levels. Subject to the possibility of injury such as cuts, bruises, burns, electrical shock, and falls from equipment.

Work may be performed outside in inclement weather.
