To work within our New Beginnings Team, supporting the planning and implementation of activities with individual or groups of children; promoting effective teaching and learning To be part of our New Beginnings Team that provides a purposeful, stimulating environment rich in learning opportunities, both indoors and outdoors To promote the inclusion of all children To use professional knowledge of the individual and diverse ways that children learn and develop, to meet their differing needs To establish positive and sensitive relationships with children To act as a role model and set achievable expectations To be responsible for helping to organise the environment inside and outside to ensure that resources and equipment are available and appropriate to meet the needs of the individual children in the group.

These activities will take into account children’s abilities interests, language and cultural backgrounds To meet the physical needs of children, encouraging good standards of personal hygiene, whilst promoting independence To provide support for the children’s emotional and social needs by implementing the principles of the school and nursery Promoting Positive Behaviour Policy and role modelling high standards in all aspects of their role and personal conduct To encourage children to interact and work co-operatively with others To support the nursery’s commitment on safeguarding children in all aspects of the nursery service To support the team to monitor and evaluate children's learning through a range of assessment and monitoring strategies To provide objective and accurate feedback and reports for parents and other professionals on children’s achievements, progress and related matters To develop positive and sensitive relationships with parents and carers to support their role in children's learning To provide constructive feedback on children’s progress/achievement, on a day-to-day basis or through parent meetings To be proactive in the continuation of your own learning to improve the outcomes for children and their families To have a clear knowledge of and adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations To comply and assist with the development of policies and procedures To attend meetings as required and participate in training opportunities and performance development To be accountable for the delivery of the above responsibilities and tasks To undertake any duties set to you by the Management Team that will assist in the day- to-day running of the nursery To demonstrate a commitment to developing personal skills in accordance with the apprentice framework To meet deadlines associated to progression through the full apprenticeship period To complete assignments/projects which relate to the apprenticeship framework to meet target dates

An exciting apprenticeship opportunity to become a level 3 Early Years Practitioner. A chance to work in a wonderful and supportive nursery setting with children aged from birth to 3 years old.

Early Years Educator Level 3 Training will include paediatric first aid qualification All training will be completed within the workplace setting throughout the apprenticeship.

Completion of the level 3 qualification/apprenticeship can lead to employment in the childcare sector such as private nurseries and school settings. There will also be the possibility of a full-time position available upon successful completion with a competitive starting salary pro rata depending on nursery circumstances. Further in house qualifications including opportunities to develop additional qualifications.

We are an Early Years Childminding setting and Ofsted rated 'Good' childcare provider. We cater for children from birth to 3 years.

Before you can work with children at our setting, you will require the following: ✔ An enhanced disclosure (DBS) specific to our setting ✔ Suitable references ✔ Successful medical All of the above will be obtained by the setting upon appointment. We are looking for someone who enjoys being around children, who is genuinely interested in working with children as a career choice. Working with children is a very rewarding job that requires an energetic, caring and committed individual.
