Early Years Educator Level 3 Training will include paediatric first aid qualification
On successful completion, the apprentice will be qualified to work at Level 3 within an early years setting. There may be an opportunity to progress into a permanent assistant role within Mini Minds, subject to business needs and performance. The qualification can also support progression into more senior early years roles and further professional development or study within childcare and education.
Mini Minds is a home-based childminding setting in Newquay providing high quality early years care and education in a nurturing, child-centred environment. We care for young children in a small, close-knit setting and work closely with parents and carers to understand each child's individual needs, interests and development. A key part of our approach is learning in the outdoors.
We are out and about with the children every day and visit parks, beaches, boating lake, zoo, library and green space areas around Newquay. We aim to give children varied real-world experiences that build independence, confidence, curiosity and a love of learning through outdoor play.
We work as a small team and are looking for someone to assist with daily activities, help meet the children’s physical needs, build positive relationships with children and staff alike and gain hands on experience within a highly experienced team.
Passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check Applicants must be comfortable spending substantial periods walking outdoors and regularly pushing double buggies containing young children. Appropriate clothing and footwear for all weathers will be important
