Provide day-to-day administrative support to different departments across the business. Answer telephone calls and respond to emails in a professional and helpful manner. Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets and information on company systems. Assist with customer orders, quotations, invoices and general correspondence. Support the sales, purchasing, finance and customer service teams with administrative tasks. Prepare documents, reports and other information using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Liaise with customers, suppliers and colleagues to help ensure information is communicated accurately and on time. Assist with filing, data entry and maintaining organised electronic and paper records. Develop strong communication, organisation, time-management and problem-solving skills through practical experience and apprenticeship training.

The apprentice will work towards the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. Training will be provided by The College of Animal Welfare (CAW) Business School in Huntingdon. The apprentice will develop practical skills and knowledge in business administration, communication, organisation, IT, project support, business processes and working effectively with colleagues and customers.
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will achieve the Level 3 Business Administrator qualification.

This is an office-based role involving regular computer and telephone use. The apprentice will be expected to work at a computer for periods of the working day and will need to be organised and able to manage multiple tasks. The role is based at our Huntingdon premises.
