An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Off-the-job training will follow the time allocations outlined in the Occupational Standard.
Training will be delivered by Train'd Up through a combination of workplace learning, regular reviews and off-the-job training. You will be supported throughout your apprenticeship by a dedicated tutor and your workplace mentor, helping you develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to successfully complete your apprenticeship.
Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a permanent CNC Operator position. With further experience and training, you'll have opportunities to progress into roles such as CNC Programmer, CNC Setter/Operator, Production Engineer or Manufacturing Supervisor, building a long-term career in engineering.
