Advanced Practice Nurse (Employee Health Program Coordinator)

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements. Basic Requirements: Education: A graduate or higher-level degree in nursing from an accredited educational program in the area of expertise or specialty indicated by the position. This education must have been accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained.

AND Licensure: Applicants must have passed the National Council Licensure Examination and applicants applying for Advance Practice Nurse positions must be licensed or registered by a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States in the clinical specialty required by the position. All qualified referred candidates will undergo a credentialing process. This process includes validation of medical examinations, education, internship and residency. AND In addition to the Basic Requirements: Experience: Applicants must have at least one or more full years of Advance Practice Nurse experience that is equivalent to the next lower grade level.

Some examples of qualifying experience are: Experience in conducting medical exams. Experience in creating a medical differential diagnosis and treatment plans based on analysis of test data, laboratory data and radiological studies while considering the symptomatology of the individual. Experience in interpreting multifaceted independent medical evaluation involving complex disease processes. Experience in prescribing medical treatments.

Experience in evaluating employees with medical conditions in positions that require occupationally specific physical requirements. Experience in communicating with Agency staff with regard to medical aspects of a legal case. If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience.
