Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship

Support individuals with their daily routines while promoting independence, dignity and respect. Read and understand care plans, risk assessments and guidance to provide safe, personalised support. Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming and toileting where required. Support individuals with mobility, moving and handling, and the safe use of equipment. Prepare meals and drinks and provide support with eating and drinking.

Support with medication in line with your training, care plans and company procedures. Complete accurate care records using digital systems and report any changes or concerns. Provide companionship, conversation and social support to help reduce isolation. Assist with light household tasks, including laundry and shopping, while maintaining a safe environment. Work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care.

Follow company policies, procedures and confidentiality requirements at all times. Attend training sessions, team meetings, supervisions and reviews to continue developing your skills. Wear the correct uniform and represent the organisation professionally.

Join our dedicated team as an Adult Care Worker apprentice and make a genuine difference every day. You’ll support 35 residents with cerebral palsy across our residential, day and respite care services, helping each person enjoy a fulfilling, active and varied life while promoting their independence, choice and wellbeing.

All apprenticeship training will be delivered remotely by eTraining. You will take part in scheduled online training sessions and complete apprenticeship activities within the workplace. A full training schedule, including session dates and frequency will be provided once you commence your apprenticeship. You will need access to a laptop or desktop computer and a reliable internet connection.

Our flexible, remote training helps learners develop the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to succeed in their careers.
