Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with each resident’s individual care plan. Assist residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting. Support residents with mobility while promoting their independence wherever possible. Encourage residents’ emotional wellbeing through meaningful activities, companionship and social interaction. Protect each resident’s dignity, privacy and rights at all times.
Complete light housekeeping duties to help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment. Build positive and trusting relationships with residents, their families and colleagues. Follow all safeguarding, health and safety, infection prevention and confidentiality procedures. Accurately record and report any changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeing.

All apprenticeship training will be delivered remotely by eTraining. You will take part in scheduled online training sessions and complete apprenticeship activities within the workplace. A full training schedule, including session dates and frequency will be provided once you commence your apprenticeship. You will need access to a laptop or desktop computer and a reliable internet connection.
