Deliver safe, respectful and person-centred care to individuals in their own homes or supported-living settings. Assist with personal care, daily routines, mobility, meal preparation and hydration. Provide medication support where appropriately trained, competent and authorised. Encourage independence, wel-being and involvement in social and community activities. Monitor individuals’ health and wellbeing and promptly report any changes or concerns. Maintain accurate, up-to-date and confidential care records.
Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, policies and procedures. Comply with safeguarding, health and safety, infection prevention and confidentiality requirements. Communicate effectively with individuals, families, colleagues and other professionals. Complete all apprenticeship training, attend scheduled learning sessions and work towards achieving the Adult Care Worker Level 2 apprenticeship.

All apprenticeship training will be delivered remotely by eTraining. You will take part in scheduled online training sessions and complete apprenticeship activities within the workplace. A full training schedule, including session dates and frequency will be provided once you commence your apprenticeship. You will need access to a laptop or desktop computer and a reliable internet connection.
